There are many cultural activities from ancient folk dancing celebrations to the famous sword dancing.

All of these are preserved and cultivated by cultural and performing societies.

During the summer months these cultural events are performed for tourists.

The most famous of these is the Moreska Sword dance, dating back from the 15th century and the Turkish seige of Korcula in 1571.
